I read a thread on the Lung Cancer Alliance website that was describing the difficulty some people are having registering or logging on to my If anyone is having trouble logging in or registering, please let me know by sending me an e-mail at west@onctalk.com. In many of the cases where people haven’t been receiving their e-mails with a password after attempting initial registration, it has been because their e-mail system has filtered out the automated e-mail from “wordpress”, the software system that this site runs on. In other cases, there may be a bug.
Regardless of the cause, I’d hate to have people not be able to log on and just give up. I and the software guys I’m working with can focus on the issue and fix the problem. Please drop an e-mail to let me know if you’re having any problems.

Dr. West - I had great trouble registering initially, though I am pretty used to doing that sort of thing. I became so frustrated that my sister ended up trying until she got me registered. Since then, I can log in immediately sometimes, and other times it takes many attempts. Seems to happen regardless of what PC I am using. As a matter of fact, I had trouble logging in today to tell you that I sometimes do have trouble!

For anyone replying to this post, could you leave or email to Dr West very detailed explanations of what/how you are trying to log in, and what type of computer and browser you are using, and any other miscellaneous information that you think may be useful or relevant to the issue you are having. We are having difficulties trying recreate these login issues and without more information, we can not do so. Unfortunately, a problem that can’t be made can’t be fixed.
We apologize for any inconvenience any of you have suffered and hopefully with your help we can make sure that everything runs smoothly and as it should.
